A couple of days after the wedding, we’ll be treating ourselves to a night in a lovely hotel in Cartmel. One last excuse to put off the prospect of returning to real life!

Then, in May, we’re heading off to Switzerland, which is a place we’ve both always wanted to visit. We’ll start in Zurich with a trip to St. Gallen, then down to Lucerne and up the Stoosbahn funicular, then Interlaken and Grindelwald, and through the dramatic Lauterbrunnen valley.

Our plan is simple: walking, eating, and soaking up as much of the scenery as we can.

We really don’t expect presents, but if you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we’d be so grateful.
